It
never seemed to work out for her. The men in her life always want to either get
in her pants or steal her work. Coworkers were never just coworkers anymore; they always made themselves into more and
it irked her to no end. Eleanor ran a hand through her strawberry-blonde hair
in annoyance. Why couldn't she find a job where she could work at home? It
would solve all her problems.
She
continued to type as she snuck a glance at the clock above the door to her boss’s
office. It was nearly time for her to clock out; for her to go home and read
that new novel that she bought earlier in the week and drink a nice warm cup of
hot cocoa.
Sounds like she needs a change. Great insight to her life in this snippet.
